I’m only 37 and I suffer as well! And you’re right — it’s almost always nouns. “volcano sauce”=lava/magma. “String”=rope. “Spider bush”=web. I’m sure you have some great ones too! What would be really funny is to incorporate all of these silly substitute words into a story and see if anyone can figure out what it actually means! I’m glad you’re able to see the humor in it.
